COVID-19 Clinic Risk Assessment
I want to assure clients that I am doing everything to comply with the UK Government’s Close-Contact Services Guidelines.
This includes
Seeing a maximum of 4 clients per day
Restricting the time spent with each client to a maximum of 90minutes
Increasing the time between appointments in order to carry out all necessary sanitising procedures in the clinic
Ensuring there is adequate ventilation in the treatment room
INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS
Please complete the COVID-19 Client Risk Assessment form below before every treatment
Inform Jade if any COVID-19 related circumstances change for you or anyone within your household before your appointment, or if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment. At this time there is no cancellation fee due for any appointment changes.
The UK Close Contact Guidelines have recently changed and I am now encouraging all clients to wear a face covering upon entering the clinic. You may remove your face covering if you are having a herbal steam as Jade is not in the room with you, and you may also remove the face covering whilst face-down on the massage couch when receiving a back massage treatment. Jade will be wearing a mask at all times during your appointment and during the hands-on treatment. This is based on information available from Public Health NI where it states - ‘It is strongly advised that you should think about using face coverings in particular circumstances - short periods in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not possible.’ - https://www.publichealth.hscni.net/covid-19-coronavirus/covid-19-information-public#face-coverings
Arrive to the clinic at your appointment time and not before.
Bring water/refreshment to your appointment, come alone to your appointment. bring only what you need to your appointment.
You can now prepay for your appointment at any time using the link provided in your appointment confirmation email. If you wish to pay at your appointment, card payments are preferred at this time.
Inform Jade if any COVID-19 related circumstances change for you or anyone within your household in the 7 days after your appointment. Jade will also follow up with all clients 7 days after their appointment to ensure all is well.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION - These are the measures Meant to Bee is taking during this time
Before each appointment -
Each client is required to complete a Client COVID-19 Risk Assessment form (see below)
Clients are asked not to arrive for their appointment before their appointment time. This is to ensure all cleaning procedures can be carried out before a new client enters the clinic
Clients may request a phone-call before they enter the clinic to discuss any issues or areas of pain before their treatment. This is to ensure talking is kept to a minimum during the appointment, and so clients receive as much hands-on treatment time as possible
When you enter the clinic hand sanitiser is available at the door or clients may wash their hands in the restroom
Currently there are no waiting areas at the Meant to Bee clinic and so I ask that all clients come alone into the premises. If you require assistance to and from the clinic door that is not an issue
For health and safety I ask that clients bring only what is necessary for their appointment into the clinic e.g. no extra bags/shopping etc
Water will be available for clients in sealed plastic bottles but for the sake of the environment you may wish to bring your own water in a sealed container
Between each appointment -
All linens are removed from the treatment couch and placed securely in a sealed laundry bin, and the couch and pillows are throughly sanitised.
All surfaces within the treatment room including chairs are sanitised
All door handles and light switches throughout the clinic, including the restroom, are sanitised.
A new hand towel is provided for each client in the restroom
Card payment machine and screen are sanitised before each use
During each appointment -
Jade will be wearing a face covering at all times whilst in the clinic with a client
The clinic windows will be open between appointments to allow fresh air into the space, and the treatment room door will be kept open during treatments to encourage ventilation, and client privacy is still maintained.
Client COVID-19 Risk Assessment
Every client is required to complete the following form before every treatment at Meant to Bee.
This is to ensure the health and safety of staff and clients.
Many thanks for your co-operation.
